Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to participation bookings made for Natyanjali, presented by the Rotary Club of Madras Heritage. Payments are processed securely through Razorpay.

1. Cancellation Requests

To request a cancellation or refund, please contact us using the details below, quoting your invoice number and the email address used for the booking. Requests are reviewed by the organizing team.

2. Eligibility for Refund

A refund may be issued in the following cases:

• The event or the participant's slot is cancelled by the organizers.
• The participant is found ineligible for the selected dance category and the registration is cancelled by the organizers.
• A duplicate or erroneous payment was made for the same booking, or the payment was deducted but the booking was not confirmed.
• Any other case approved by the organizing team at its discretion, for example a cancellation request made well in advance of the event.

Once a performance slot has been allocated and the event date is close, requests for cancellation may not be eligible for a refund. Decisions on refund requests are made by the organizing team.

3. Refund Amount

Approved refunds may be full or partial, depending on the circumstances of the cancellation. The refunded amount will be communicated to you by email.

4. Refund Method and Timeline

• Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
• Once a refund is approved and initiated, it is processed through Razorpay and typically reflects in your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
• You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed. When an order is fully refunded, the performance slot allocated to the participant is released.
